I discovered it was the first week of this music festival. I therefore booked to go to four concerts and Penny is coming to two of them.
The first was the large symphony orchestra Staatkapelle Berlin conducted by Daniel Barenboim playing three pieces by Arnold Schonberg. Difficult music but brilliantly played.
