Canterbury Cathedral

I always pay a visit to Canterbury Cathedral so Penny and I went to evensong on Friday evening. My mothers ashes (she died six years ago) are buried in the memorial gardens.She was a guide in the Cathedral for 55 years.

We were intrigued that the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin  Welby was in attendance, sitting in his stall, carrying a kruk but not taking part in the service. The East end of the Cathedral looks really nice since the brick repair work has been completed.
