Travelling by Europe's fast trains is a pleasure. We left London, St Pancras on the Eurostar at 11am. We arrived in Brusels two hours later via the Channel Tunnel. No delays caused by refugees at Calais - we did not see any. We had an hour delay in the next Inter City Express to Koln. Then a third ICE train arriving Berlin after 10 hrs. Comfortable and quiet and adequate food on all trains.
