Maidenhead

Our last night was spent with Penny's school friend Anna near Maidenhead. They attended Ashford school 56 years ago. Anna drove us to Windsor where we attended Evensong. I was a chorister at St George's Chapel from 1946-1953. The choir were superbly blended even though there were only eleven choir boys and 12 Lay Clerks. In my day there were 22 choir boys.
